TCDA SHOW TROUPES

TCDA ELITE.

TCDA Show Troupes are a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for dancers really looking at taking their art to the next level.  TCDA were the first studio in this region to establish performance troupes, with all studios now following suit to emulate our success.  Whilst our Troupes competitive record is outstanding, over the years they have earned a remarkable reputation not only for their technical prowess but also for their inspiring humility, positive attitudes and consummate professionalism, hinting at the real outcomes we find of greatest value in our Troupies.

Entry into our Show Troupes is by way of audition which takes place in the first week of term 1 annually.

COMPS.

TCDA's Elite Show Troupe members are skilled dancers individually but together they are spectacular.  Their ability to support and encourage each other is a key factor to their success, as is their dedication to excellence at each rehearsal and performance.

Supported by an equally dedicated group of parents, TCDA is immensely proud and impressed by our Troupe's professionalism, humility, prowess and character.

PERFORMANCE.

Our Show Troupe's high standard has placed them in high demand to perform in a number of professional commercial, charity and community events. They provided the entertainment at the Westpac Rescue Ball and lit up the stage with Rhonda Burchmore in Peter Ross's Christmas at the Capitol and added a sophisticated start to ArtState Tamworth.  Charity and Community performances included the Festival of Abilities, the NSW Cancer Council Relay for Life and the Stars of Tamworth Dance For Cancer, Timbumburi PS Carols by Glowstick and the Bicentenary of Tamworth.

Previous Troupe performances have included the Quality Business Awards, Rob McDougall's "Epiphanies", David Camm's "Cosmic" and "Tinseltown" and "Swing Sessions" with the 2340 Big Band.
