ENROLLING WITH TCDA
JOIN THE TCDA FAMILY.
We'd love to have your dancer grow with us. Here's everything you need to know about enrolling at Tamworth City Dance Academy.
ENROLMENT PERIODS
TCDA operates on a two-term block enrolment model with enrolments opening twice a year — at the beginning of Term 1 and again at the beginning of Term 3, running parallel to the NSW Public School term calendar.
Mid-block enrolments during Terms 2 and 4 are considered at the discretion of TCDA management. Please contact us directly if you are interested in joining outside of a standard enrolment period.
People are welcome to join casual classes at any time throughout the year.
TRIAL CLASSES.
Not sure which classes to enrol in? We offer trial lessons at the beginning of each enrolment period — Terms 1 and 3 only.
A trial lesson entitles your dancer to attend a single session in a class of their choice at 50% of the standard class rate. You may trial up to 4 classes in different styles simultaneously — each trial is limited to one session per style.
Following your trial lesson, simply confirm your enrolment through the Parent Portal to continue for the full term. If the class isn't the right fit, no further fees apply beyond the trial session. Trial lesson fees must be paid prior to the session.

Please note that trials are not permitted in our aerial classes.
FEES.
TCDA's tuition fees are calculated on a per-session basis multiplied by the number of class occurrences in the term, adjusted for public holidays and studio closure dates. Fees vary by class type and duration.
Annual registration fee: $35.00 per student, payable at the time of registration
Class fees: Fees are listed with the class details on the registration area of the Parent Portal.
Multi-class discount: 5% off each class from the third class onwards per student (excludes Troupe, Private Lessons and Casual Classes)
Costume fees: Payable for all classes that perform in our Mid Year Showcase and End of Year production. These costumes are not rentals - They are your to keep!
Payment methods:

Auto-Pay / Direct Debit — set up through the Parent Portal

Direct bank deposit — use your Dancer's name as the payment reference

Cash or EFTPOS — at the studio during class times
Auto-Pay is our preferred payment method where TCDA fees are automatically deducted from your nominated account. Parents are also invited to request we set up a flexible payment plan to spread your fees across the full term. Full details are available in our Fees and Payment Policy.
TCDA is also an approved provider of the NSW Active and Creative Kids Voucher Scheme.
HOW TO ENROL.
Enrolment at TCDA is now completed entirely online through our TCDA Parent Portal. Here's how it works:
Step 1 — Find your classes
Take your time and browse our site to find out just what we're about. Choosing the right dance school is a big decision and it's important that you make the right one. When you're ready, visit our "Enrol in a Class Now" page to get started.
Step 2 — Register and Enrol through the Parent Portal
Depending on the class eligibility, you will be able to register / enrol or book a trial lesson. This will open the TCDA Parent Portal where all bookings are conducted. New users will be required to create an account.
Step 3 — Select your classes Once your account is set up you'll be able to browse and select classes for your dancer based on their age and experience level. The system will guide you toward appropriate classes automatically.
Step 4 — Confirm your enrolment Review your selections, agree to TCDA's Terms and Conditions and complete your registration. A confirmation email will be sent to you with a summary of your enrolment details.
Step 5 — Download the Studio Pro app For the best ongoing experience download the Studio Pro Parent app to manage your account, view schedules, make payments and stay connected with the TCDA team.
